About Us

Is membership free?We provide both at-cost and subsidised memberships and will discuss costs with you after you have registered your interest. In general we do not want cost to be an obstacle to joining our community. Many of our events are open to the public and entirely free.

What are the benefits?Exposure to government: SASH is co-located with the Singapore government’s own co-working space (Lorong AI) in which accommodates 40 civil servants from different government departments working on AI. This creates significant networking opportunities for our members. International Community: We will host International researchers and practitioners visiting Singapore giving you access to the global AI safety community Events: Opportunities for your organisation to co-host events with the Singapore government via their weekly “AI Wednesdays” event series. We will also organise events with them which you may attend and use to network etc. Infrastructure: Access to an event-space with capacity for at least 50 people to host events. Support from our local-staff to help you with logistics, outreach etc. Freebies: Complimentary office equipment for your desk: monitors, keyboard, mice, stationary, whiteboard + lots of snacks
